You don’t need a huge overhaul to have a successful week. Sometimes it’s the small, intentional moments that make the biggest difference. ✨

Here are 5 small things you can do with your students this week:
✔️ Greet them by name
✔️ Post and revisit the learning goal
✔️ Celebrate the tiniest wins
✔️ Let them reflect on their own progress
✔️ Highlight their growth before Friday’s done

April showers 🌧️ bring May flowers 💐!

Grab some @crayola crayons and @sharpie markers from @walmart and create this super simple and colorful project with your students. 😍🤩🥰

Use the sharpie and start with drawing circles in the center of the paper. From there, add pedals, stems, and leaves. Guide your students in creating different designs and lines to fill the spaces in the center of the flowers, leaves, pedals.

They can finish by coloring with their favorite @crayola crayons, markers, and/or colored pencils!

This camera-themed portfolio is such a fun (and adorable) end-of-year project. Just fold a poster board in half and use the templates from my resource to turn it into a camera! Your students can fill it with their best work from the year and take it home as a keepsake, or you can use it to wow families at your open house.

The last week of school is always 🤪 .

I usually tried to make it engaging and fun with a week of themed days where we review all that we’ve learned, but also have a blast.

Here are some of my favorite themes:

🍉Watermelon Day
Dress in watermelon colors or watermelon shirts. Have a fruit tasting hour and survey the others on their favorite fruits. Create some watermelon art. Finally, make a watermelon EXPLODE! Find all the printables for this day in my shop that’s linked in my bio.

📖 Book Character Day
Dress up like your favorite book characters. Write stories and have an Author’s Tea with treats and lemonade. Invite parents to be mystery readers and have students read their own stories in an “author’s chair.”

⚾️ Sports Day
Wear your favorite sports jersey. Play all the sports! Survey students across grade levels about their favorite sports and what games and activities they want to see added on the school playground. Find all the printables for this day in my shop that’s linked in my bio.

☮️ Decades Day
Dress up from another decade. Have students research facts from different decades and create posters to show what they’ve learned.
