Today I’d like to share my thanks for Scholastic Bonus Points! I LOVE SCHOLASTIC! There are so many great aspects of Scholastic. They sell books at great prices and they make it super simple for teachers and parents to find and enjoy new and classic books.
When I first started my teaching career, I think I was most excited about creating a Scholastic account! They sent all these great free gifts and also gifted bonus points to help start and foster my new class library.
Over the years, I have accumulated so many books. Scholastic provided many opportunities for my classroom to get all these books by hosting awesome bonus point incentives for parent orders. Once year, I had enough parent orders where we earned over 10,000 bonus points. Well, these points were burning a hole in my pocket, so instead of saving them, I spent them on bookshelves, book racks, CD players, listening stations, and tons and tons of books for my students and our classroom.
Here’s a free gift I got for being a “Red Apple Teacher.” I love free gifts!
This company is so wonderful and I love the opportunities they provide students and teachers. Not only with bonus points but with their countless teaching ideas, student incentive programs for reading, and their promotion of reading for life!
